XPoSat (X-ray Polarimeter Satellite) is India’s first dedicated polarimetry mission to study various dynamics of bright astronomical X-ray sources in extreme conditions. The spacecraft carries two scientific payloads in a low earth orbit. The payload POLIX (Polarimeter Instrument in X-rays) measures the polarimetry parameters (degree and angle of polarization) in medium X-ray energy range of 8-30 keV photons of astronomical origin. The second payload XSPECT (X-ray Spectroscopy and Timing) payload provides spectroscopic information in the energy range of 0.8-15 keV. Know more
XPPS - XPoSat Proposal Processing System is a web based proposal processing software for XPoSat Mission that facilitates the proposal driven operations and participation of the scientific community. To submit a proposal Click here
XPoViewer is a web-based tool which assesses the visibility of a target for any given time-range that proposers need to use in order to determine the viability of a target of interest for observation. Click here
